Cheap Golf Gear
What car for nearly 19 year old Driver.? 3rd Car helpp need ideas!?
I want something thats economical, with some power, looks nice, reliable, big boot, and good rear passanger room,
So far i have thought of -
Seat Ibiza Fr 1.9 TDi - insurance group 8, over 55mpg, 130bhp - firm'ish ride, high seats, not alot off room in back, but its cheap to insure and its fast and eco.
Volkswagon golf 1.9 SPORT )105bhp) - leather seats, comfortable, big boot, reliable, holds its value.
Which would you choose out of these two? there both eco, the seat is fast, but doesnt have alot of room and isnt as comfortable as the golf, and the golf has leather seats. both have 6 gears, the golf is also cheaper to insure.
Which would you go for? and what other cars are they that look good, fast and economical?
im guessing you are talking about the golf MK V with the 105 tdi engine?
go for the MK 4 GTTDI with the 130 engine simple remap can take it up to 170 with no need to change anything
or if you splash a couple of hundred here or there in the future you can make it into a 250bhp R32 killer
i would personally not look out side the VAG range and stick to the TDI engines
